No fun

Christopher got FIVE shots on Friday.

Saturday night he started itching

and getting a rash

and one of his arms was really bruised from the shots

and at 2:00 a.m. he started throwing up.

So there we were reading the fact sheets on all five shots at 2:15 a.m.

1 in 50 throws up instead of getting a mild fever 🙂

Lucky us.

Mommy and Christopher stayed up most of the night watching dinosaur movies (Land of the Lost),

and Kanga helped him feel good in the morning

Christopher’s birthday is in a few days; he’s having an alien party.

He’s growing up fast, and loves to be outside…

Playing in the snow

Here’s what’s on his mind…

My favorite food is…pancakes for breakfast; peanut butter and jelly for lunch; pasta for dinner; and butterscotch pudding for dessert!

When I grow up I want to…not do boring stuff

My favorite stuffed animal is…Kanga (Kangaroo)

My favorite color is…blue

My favorite song is…Rock-a-bye Baby

My favorite holiday is…Christmas

If I could do anything tomorrow I would…go to the Wisconsin Dells

Spring Break – Wisconsin Dells

April 12th, 2008

We just got back from the Great Wolf Lodge in the Wisconsin Dells. It was Colleen’s spring break so we packed up the car and met some friends down there for several days. This is the same place we went last year. It has everything you need all under one roof.  We all look forward to this trip each year now.  I’m sure we’ll be back again next year; hopefully with more friends.

Here is the gift Christopher chose for daddy and him to make during craft time one day at the Dells. I’m still wondering what the lady in charge was thinking when she handed Christopher the hot glue gun…somehow we survived…

Despite the foot of snow we received in the past week,

we know the flowers are starting to stir somewhere below.
