I’m back

I can’t believe it’s been a whole month since I’ve written. Well that’s never happened before. Won’t let it happen again. That’s what an out-of-state family wedding will do to you. Speaking of which – had an awesome time – everything I said I would do in my previous email actually happened – wedding, seafood, travel, family, babies, friends – it was a great trip!!!

Hard to believe pilots playing on their laptops at 37,000 feet are making news with stuff like this going on too:

Pre-wedding excitement (control yourself Christopher!).

About as close to paradise as you can get 🙂

Megan and daddy having fun and foolin’ the world!

All the grandkids…

2nd round of kiddie cocktails at 10:00 p.m. – sociaaaaaaaaal!!!!

White Mountains – duh.

Playing in the Polar Caves. We all survived the Lemon Squeezer and the Devil’s Kitchen!

In the past two weeks we’ve gotten letters sent home from school saying kids in our kid’s classrooms have lice, strep, and H1N1. Sickos! I got to play hooky from work today because Christopher had a fever last night and not much of an appetite today – but he’s been a trooper. We got to play bakugan’s, and watch star wars, and watch dragon hunter, and work on his space derby kit for tiger scouts – he sure kept me busy in between naps! Here’s that big tiger scout:

Bad dog (taking care of my sick boy)!

Happy Halloween!

Hard to believe that was a month ago. We sure enjoyed your visit and glad our family could all be together again. We really enjoyed having all of our six grandchildren here. Your children are growing up so fast. Although we aren’t able to personally enjoy their activities, we are so glad you keep us up-to-date so well with this blog.

Speaking of weddings, we didn’t get around to calling you on your anniversary (sorry). Hope you made some time to celebrate. Doesn’t seem like it was 14 years ago we were all out in St Louis for your wedding.

Hope Christopher is feeling better now and he didn’t share the bug with others in your family.

I like the jack-o-lanterns and Halloween costumes (it wasn’t candy that did Christopher in was it???). Probably not, I don’t think a candy overdose would cause a fever. Those are nice pictures of your Tiger Scout and Peter Pan. As we were going through some papers the other night we came across Colleen’s cookie thank you notes and drawings. Tell her we said thank you for her thank yous and we were glad we could help her out.

It has been a while since we talked. We’re curious how things went with Beth on the 20th?

Speaking of the Lemon Squeeze. As we were in the 99 Restaurant a couple nights ago I looked down and noticed a little hole in my red jacket. Mom said she meant to mention it. You almost got away with it. No harm, I’m glad you all had a good time and it kept you a little warmer on your outings.

Hope all is well. We’ll try to catch up with you on the phone sometime this week.

    Love,

    Dad & Grandpa T
