Earth Hour

And how did you celebrate Earth Hour? Everyone on the planet was supposed to turn off their lights from 8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. wherever they were today. We did it. We survived. No sign of lights in front of Christopher and Megan in this photo (yes, our house is straight ahead of them somewhere) – no lights, no electronics, no tv…for a whole hour!!!

I haven’t quite figured out everything on my camera yet…which sometimes makes shots turn out better than anticipated πŸ™‚

We head to the Dells soon…which means I’ve been blogging for a whole year! Megan tripped on the driveway today and smacked her forehead on the cement (yes, on daddy’s shift again)…get ready to see bumps and bruises in upcoming photos πŸ™

Poor Megan… sounds like Daddy needs to keep a better eye on her. We forgot to participate… oops. I swear I will get my act together one of these days!

    Hi,

We missed earth hour, but we do do our part each and every day. Every night we go around the house and turn lights off that the other one has left on.

Hope you didn’t violate any earth hour rules with your fire. Is that carbon going up in the atmosphere in that one picture? That is kind of neat. It looks like the fire is much larger than it actually is. I’ve still got a lot to learn about our new camera. I’m just a little beyond the how do you turn it on stage. When you know all the tricks and capabilities you can fill me in. I like how quickly it takes pictures and being able to look through the view finder.

Hope Megan is all better now and all is well.

    Love,

    Dad & Grandpa

I think it’s time to update your blog!! It’s been almost 2 weeks with no new updates… you just wait until mine is up and running… it will have updates more often. I’m challenging you.

I know, I know…I’ll work on the update now. Sorry πŸ™
